Dios Held Its Annual General Meeting

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - July 8, 2010) - DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX VENTURE:DOS) held its Annual General Meeting last June in Montreal to elect the Board of directors and appoint the auditors.

All members of DIOS' Board were re-elected at June's Annual General Meeting. The Board is composed of Marie-José Girard, Dominique Doucet, René Lacroix, Normand Payette and Claude Britt. Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton LLP, Chartered Accountants, were appointed as auditors at the Meeting.

At the last Board meeting, held shortly after the Annual Meeting, the following directors were appointed officers: Marie-José Girard, M.Sc. Geologist, as President, et René Lacroix, Chartered Accountant, as Chief Financial Officer. Dominique Doucet, Engineer, Normand Payette and Claude Britt, Geologist, will act as independent directors. 

DIOS completed a year filled with exploration successes and an update on the ongoing projects, located in central Quebec, was presented during the Annual Meeting. Many projects are active this year such as Pontax Lithium (50 % with Sirios), Pontax (diamond), U33 (diamond and gold), 33 Carats (diamond), Hotish (uranium) et Shipshaw (niobium-tantalum (strategic metals) and rare earth elements). 

As for the Shipshaw carbonatite in Saguenay (Chicoutimi), DIOS has now acquired 75 % of the project and is working right now on geological studies to target the next 15 to 20 drill holes planned in order to better assess the carbonatite complex.
