Director of Georgia Maritime Logistics Innovation Center to Speak at Homeland Integrated Security Systems Shareholders Meeting

ATLANTA, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 10, 2005 -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems (OTC: HISC) announced today that Page Siplon, the director of Georgia's Maritime Logistic Innovation Center (MLIC), will be a speaker at the company's annual shareholders' meeting to be held in Atlanta, October 20-21, 2005. Mr. Siplon will be speaking on the topic of seaport security and how the MLIC is working with Homeland Integrated Security Systems to test the company's new Cyber Tracker device. The MLIC is one of the country's few organizations able to develop maritime-related solutions by testing university research and privately developed technologies in an active port environment.

Mr. Siplon will outline the pilot project at the Port of Savannah and discuss the recently completed white paper on the Cyber Tracker project. The Port of Savannah's Garden City Terminal is the largest single terminal container operation in the U.S. with over 1,200 acres of property. There are up to 8,000 trucks entering the Port everyday. The challenge of tracking and pinpointing the location of each vehicle real-time is daunting in its complexity. To help address this massive security issue, the Savannah Port asked Homeland Integrated Security Systems to pilot-test the Cyber Tracker.

"Seaport security is an integral part of the Cyber Tracker and the project at the Port of Savannah has played a major role in its development," said Frank Moody, CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. "Mr. Siplon's remarks should be of major interest to our shareholders, as well as anyone who is interested in the security of the world's ports."
