NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Aug 8, 2012) - Searchmetrics, the global leader in search and social analytics software, has appointed Dirk Wolf to the newly-created position of Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Wolf is responsible for the finances, administration and commercial interests of the growing international company, focusing in particular on commercial management and investor relations.
As a member of the management team Wolf plays a decisive role in the future development and implementation of the corporate strategy. Wolf is developing strategies to optimize the allocation of financial resources invested in the further development of Searchmetrics' internationally-focused business strategy.

The 39-year-old Wolf brings extensive financial and management experience to Searchmetrics, recently as Chief Financial Officer for the Telcast Group. He was also Managing Director at TV Miles International B.V. for two years. Prior to this position he co-founded the telecommunication company carrier 24 GmbH, and, after its sale, worked as Director of Group Reporting and Head of Finance & Treasury for the British buyer Energis, where he was involved in the strategic conversion of the business model from an infrastructure operator to a provider of e-business solutions.
