Discovery Ventures Inc. Announces the Appointment of A New President and CEO

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 26, 2011) - Discovery Ventures Inc. ("Discovery", "DVN" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:DVN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mike England as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. England has extensive experience in resource company management, venture capital financing, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. England became involved in the public markets in the early 80's, becoming licensed and working with firms such as Richardson Greenshields and RBC Dominion Securities. Since 1995, Mr. England has been involved with public companies and holds or has held various corporate directorships. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in numerous mineral and resource property acquisitions and financings and has raised in excess of $30 million to date for exploration and acquisitions.

Mr. Mike England states, "I am quite excited and up for the challenge of taking Discovery on. I am pleased to have joined the management team of DVN. Having recently completed a full due diligence of the properties, I am excited about the potential that exists."
