Distinction Group Announces the Acquisition of Empro and Pursues its Omni Acquisition

These acquisitions could boost the Company's annualized revenues to over $220 million as of the third quarter of 2008

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA--(Marketwire - May 14, 2008) - Distinction Group Inc. (TSX:GD), a Canadian Leader and most trusted building services company, is pleased to announce that its acquisition of Omni Facility Services Canada Limited ("Omni") is progressing well. The Company is fully satisfied with its due diligence, which is now complete. It has also received the required approvals for the financing of the transaction, and is presently finalizing the various legal and regulatory steps required for the transaction to be official. The Omni acquisition is expected to close on May 28, 2008 with a June 1, 2008 effective date.

The Company has also signed an offer to purchase all the outstanding shares of Services d'entretien Empro inc. ("Empro"), the leader in the building maintenance industry in the greater Quebec City area. The transaction is subject to board approval and the completion of a due diligence. The transaction should close on or about June 20, 2008.

"The acquisition of Empro will strengthen our Quebec base," stated Claude Bigras, President and Chief Executive Officer of Distinction Group. "Empro is known for the high quality of its services and its organization. This acquisition will add over $22 million to the Group's revenues, along with 800 employees to the Distinction family."

The transaction will have little to no impact on Empro's and Distinction's current employees and customers as the companies will remain independently operated as a result of the new corporate structure.
