District 57 Hosts 7th Annual Challenger Jamboree

More Than 20 Teams to Participate From All Over Northern California

DUBLIN, CA--(Marketwire - May 25, 2011) - District 57 hosts the Challenger Jamboree over Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29, in Dublin, CA. In its 7th year, the weekend long Jamboree benefits mentally and physically challenged youth by providing the full benefits of Little League participation. Challenger Baseball leverages each child's capabilities, while strengthening their self-esteem, and teaching them disciplines of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play.

"We are thrilled to be in our 7th year of hosting the Challenger Jamboree," said Frank Elliott, Coach, Danville A's Challenger Baseball Team. "More than 20 teams from all over Northern California will be participating this year. It's great to see how the awareness of Challenger has grown over the years. The Challenger Jamboree is a special event that celebrates baseball, families and fun!"
