Disturbed's "Inside the Fire" Is Number One at Active Rock Radio for Ten Weeks and Counting; "Indestructible" Holds Fast in Top Ten of Billboard Top 200 Chart

Band Co-Headlines the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival

BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - July 3, 2008) - After their third consecutive Number One album debut with "Indestructible," multi-platinum hard-rock band Disturbed are still at the top of the charts with the album's hit lead-off single, "Inside the Fire," which has been Number One at Active Rock Radio for 10 weeks and Top Ten at Modern Rock Radio and growing. The track, which was released digitally on March 25th, is Disturbed's sixth Number One single at Active Rock, and the band's fastest-rising chart-topper to date. The band's previous Number One Active Rock singles are "Down With The Sickness," "Prayer," "Liberate," "Stricken," and "Land of Confusion."

Released by Warner Bros. Records on June 3rd, "Indestructible" has sold more than 464,314 copies in the U.S. and currently sits at Number 9 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart four weeks after making its chart-topping debut. The self-produced album is the Chicago quartet's third consecutive Number One album, following the platinum-sellers "Believe" (2002) and "Ten Thousand Fists" (2005), making Disturbed one of only six rock bands in history to score three consecutive Number One debuts with studio albums. Disturbed's 2000 debut album, "The Sickness," has been certified triple-platinum by the R.I.A.A. with sales closing in on four million. Formed in Chicago in 1996, Disturbed have sold a collective 10 million albums worldwide.
