NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwired - Oct 21, 2015) - Diversified Trust, a Southeast-based comprehensive wealth management firm with over $5 billion in client assets under management, has announced a dynamic partnership with Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management, one of the nation's preeminent graduate business schools, to offer a comprehensive and innovative two-day program dedicated to teaching personal wealth management strategies.

The class, which will next run Monday, November 30th to Tuesday, December 1st at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., is currently open for enrollment. It is optimized for a diverse set of potential attendees, including:

  • Professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders;
  • High-income earners in the wealth accumulation phase;
  • Heirs, trust beneficiaries, and other members of families with wealth; and

"We've fine-tuned this course to be comprehensive and innovative in instilling the fundamentals necessary to understand the thinking and strategy behind the effective management of personal wealth," said Bill Spitz, co-founder and director for Diversified Trust and one of the program's instructors. "Attendees will be introduced to concepts that will allow them to ensure they are making smart, effective decisions when managing assets for current and future generations while also being taught how to maintain healthy family dynamics throughout the process."

  • Learning how to build and manage investment portfolios;
  • Talking to children about money;
  • Evaluating, hiring, and managing external financial, insurance and legal professionals; and
  • Answering the perennial question: "How much is enough?"
