DLA Seeks Contractors to Provide Series 2 Triport Tactical Headsets


ABERDEEN, MD--(Marketwired - October 17, 2016) - The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about November 1, 2016, for the TriPort Tactical Headset Series 2 (TTHS2) manufactured by Bose Corporation. The NSN for the TTHS2 is 5965-01-612-5328 and the Part number is 326535.

The DLA also anticipates awarding an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one five-year base period and no option periods. The NAICS code for this item is 334310.

The contract, according to a presolicitation notice the DLA released on Monday, October 17, will be valued at around $2,284,941 for each year of the five-year contract period. The DLA also will provide the contractor with a guaranteed minimum for year one of the contract, which it will issue with the first delivery order.

The contractor who receives the award must be able to deliver the headsets to DLA Distribution Facility in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.
