dmg events and Canadian Welding Association Announce New Event and Partnership

MILTON, ONTARIO and CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - June 23, 2015) - dmg events (Canada) inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of DMGT (Daily Mail Group & Trust plc), and Canadian Welding Association (CWA), has announced a partnership to develop and organize a new event for industry.

CanWeld 2016 is a dynamic new trade show and conference for the welding, fabricating, metal forming and industry in Western Canada, and will take place October 4 and 5, 2016 in Edmonton at Northlands - Edmonton Expo Centre. Comprising of a unique tradeshow featuring live working equipment and technology, a world class technical and business conference and unparalleled industry networking features between decision‐makers ready to do business. Strategically located in Edmonton, the energy manufacturing heartland of Alberta, CanWeld 2016 serves vital elements of the oil & gas, agriculture, mining and general manufacturing supply chain through multiple tiers.

Co‐located with CanWeld conference in Edmonton, which is recognized as the premier Canadian educational platform in the field of welding and related technologies, delegates will engage in networking, professional development, meet industry experts and build relationships key to success. The event will rotate to Eastern Canada, serving different regional industries including automotive, aerospace, transportation, medical device and energy manufacturing, for odd years (2017, 2019, 2021) and return to Edmonton for even years (2016, 2018, 2020).
