DMOS Wins Grand Prize and Audience Choice Award at Jackson Hole Pitch Day


JACKSON, WY--(Marketwired - Aug 17, 2016) -  DMOS, the innovative creator of light-weight, pro quality, packable tools that enhance outdoor experiences, won the Grand Prize and Audience Choice Awards at the Jackson Hole Pitch Day, a highly competitive pitch event. DMOS and its Stealth Shovel edged out six inventive companies that also participated in the competition.

"DMOS is based in Jackson, and because we are members of the community, this competition was extremely important to us," said Susan Pieper, Founder and CEO of DMOS. "Winning both the judges and audience award validates that our product and business plan are resonating with the investors and potential customers as we seek to disrupt the hand tool category. With Pieper's pitching efforts, DMOS won the Grand Prize which consists of $5,000 cash, five sessions of Silicon Couloir Board coaching and an invitation to attend a Hero Partners transformative business accelerator event. The innovative tool company also won the Audience Choice Award which includes a $2,500 cash prize.

The Jackson Hole Pitch Day is an annual event, organized by the nonprofit entrepreneurial hub Silicon Couloir, where selected local entrepreneurs are coached by successful investors and entrepreneurs alike. During the summer event, the selected finalists have the opportunity to pitch their businesses to a panel of seasoned investors and the general audience. The event supports start-ups and early stage entrepreneurs to take their ideas further and gain valuable experience from their hard work and effort. This year, more than 230 people attended the event.
