Do At The Zoo Tickets Still on Sale

Denver Zoo's Largest Fundraiser to Support Zoo's Education Initiatives

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - June 11, 2015) - Tickets are still on sale for Denver’s favorite summer party and Denver Zoo’s largest fundraiser, Do At The Zoo on June 18. Presented by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, the event will feature more than 60 of Denver’s top restaurants serving their best menu items, the region’s best wines and cocktails, live music, dancing and close-up animal encounters in the incomparable setting of Denver Zoo at twilight. Funds raised at this year’s event will be dedicated to the Zoo’s education initiatives, which foster STEM-based learning by bringing education alive.

Proceeds from this year’s event support Denver Zoo’s education efforts, which aim to ignite a passion for science in children through formal and informal programs at the Zoo, as well as outreach in the community. Each year, the Zoo’s Education Department serves roughly 215,000 individuals through its programs. This includes on-site classes and camps, internships, school assemblies, volunteer programs. The Zoo strives to make these programs accessible to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate, through scholarships, outreach, bilingual delivery and more.

This event kicks off at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, with a VIP party that includes dinner provided by special VIP caterer, Chef Jennifer Jasinski of Crafted Concepts, offering foods from restaurants Rioja, Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen, Bistro Vendome and Stoic & Genuine.   • $300 for VIP tickets. This includes early access at 6 p.m., valet parking and an exclusive VIP party.
