Docea Power Ranks 25th in the Deloitte In Extenso Technology Fast 50

The Company Has Achieved an Accumulated Growth of 992% Over the Last 5 Years With the Right Product Positioning and With the Excellence of Its Development Teams

GRENOBLE, FRANCE and SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 4, 2013) - Docea Power, the design-for-low-power company that delivers software solutions for power and thermal analysis at the architectural level, today announced that it ranked 25th in the Deloitte In Extenso Technology Fast 50 France which recognizes technology companies with high growth. The ranking is based on revenue growth over five years, from 2008 to 2012. Docea Power has experienced a growth rate of 992% during this period.

Ghislain Kaiser, co-founder and CEO, Docea Power, attributed this growth rate to the right market positioning of Docea's products and a good anticipation of the needs of the electronics industry. He said: "We identified very early the need for modeling and optimizing the thermal behavior and power consumption of electronic systems at a level of abstraction that can meet the ever increasing complexity of systems designs. Five years after the launch of Aceplorer, the products are mature and in use at major semiconductor companies and system OEMs. The Docea products help systems designers integrate more and more functions for limited power and thermal budgets. Anticipating the market needs puts us a few years ahead of competition."

"Ranking in the Top 50 of Deloitte Technology Fast means to be part of French leaders for 5 years, which demonstrates exceptional qualities in the highly competitive technology industry today," said Ariane Bucaille, Associate Manager Technology Fast 50 Deloitte. "We warmly welcome Docea Power to be one of the first growing technology companies in France and the first of our list in Grenoble."

The company founded in 2006 by two brothers, Ghislain Kaiser, CEO and Sylvian Kaiser, CTO, has raised 1.1 million euros in a series A round in 2010. Rhone-Alpes Creation, Alpes Développement Durable Investissement, SIPAREX were part of the investors. The company opened its US branch in the Silicon Valley in 2011 and has technical support teams in Japan and Korea.
