Donate4good: "We Care Wednesday" Drive to Benefit Goodwill of Orange County

Goodwill of Orange County to Participate in Clothing Drive at the OC Fair on July 30


SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwired - July 21, 2014) - Goodwill of Orange County, a social-enterprise organization that helps people facing barriers secure purpose-filling jobs, is pleased to announce its participation in the "We Care Wednesday" donation drive at the OC Fair on Wednesday, July 30, from noon-3:00 p.m. Community members are encouraged to donate for good (#Donate4Good) by bringing five new or gently used clothing items. Each person who donates five items will receive one free admission ticket and one carnival ride ticket to the Fair.

Donations to Goodwill of Orange County allow the organization to fund its vital employment and training programs, which provide tools and resources to help those living with disabilities and facing other barriers achieve independence through work-and are responsible for placing more than three people into good jobs every day.

OC Fair attendees who donate to Goodwill of Orange County can feel confident that their donations will be put to good use knowing that all goods donated are reused, repurposed or recycled; whether sold in stores, on shopgoodwill.com or routed through the organization's recycling program. Those who are interested in donating are recommended to arrive early on Wednesday, July 30 and visit the blue gate, yellow gate or green gate to make donations.
