DotNetNuke Corp. Opens Call for Papers for the DotNetNuke Track at DevConnections 2010

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - March 11, 2010) -  DotNetNuke Corp. (http://www.dotnetnuke.com), the company behind the most widely adopted Web Content Management Platform for Microsoft® .NET, today announced that the Call for Papers for the DotNetNuke track at DevConnections '10 is now open and accepting abstracts through March 31, 2010.

Hosted in conjunction with DevConnections 2010, the DotNetNuke Connections track will be held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas on November 1-4, 2010. Now in its fourth year, the event provides a great opportunity for DotNetNuke and Microsoft .NET developers to meet and learn about the latest developments in the DotNetNuke and Microsoft worlds.

DotNetNuke community members are encouraged to submit speaker proposals for one of four topics areas:

  • Development -- Any topics that will appeal to software coders are appropriate, whether it is on module development, building custom providers or dissecting the internals of DotNetNuke.
  • Design -- For web designers, these topics will go beyond skins into SEO, accessibility, the use of Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, and content localization. These sessions focus on the aesthetic and usability aspects of building a DotNetNuke web site.
  • Administration -- These topics consider focus on the day-to-day use and administration of running a DotNetNuke web site. How do users install DotNetNuke? How do they configure it for a web farm or to run in the cloud? How can they improve site performance?
  • Open Source -- These topics will show attendees how they can incorporate other Open Source tools -- such as using Watin for testing or using GIMP and Paint.Net for creating skin elements -- into their development, design and administration tasks. These sessions will bring in fresh and complementary ideas from other Open Source projects.
