HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Nov. 14, 2012) - Haven Holidays has been named in the British Travel Awards 2012 as the winner of Best UK Holiday Park Operator and Best Large Camping and mobile Tour Operator. Companies were nominated by the public and then voted by consumers in what has been the largest awards programme in the UK this year.
The BTAs were created to reward the best companies in travel and are recognised by consumers and travel professionals throughout the UK. With categories spanning 75 types of holiday experience - The British Travel Awards is quite simply the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really is the best in the business.

Haven holidays have 35 holiday parks all around the UK coastline and a head office in Hemel Hempstead. They employ 6000 permanent team members but also another 9000 seasonal team members including: gardeners, cleaners, maintenance, security, reception, shop assistants and, of course, entertainers.
