Doubling of resources following A238 drilling campaign in Mauritania

Forte Energy, the exploration and development company with uranium assets in Guinea and Mauritania, is
pleased to announce a maiden JORC Code compliant Inferred Mineral Resource of 26.5Mt @ 256ppm U3O8 for
14.9Mlbs contained U3O8 (100ppm cut-off) at its A238 prospect in Mauritania. This resource has been
estimated and classified by international consulting firm CSA Global Inc (UK).

This new resource represents a doubling of the Company's total resources to 45.5Mt @ 284ppm U3O8 for
28.5Mlbs contained U3O8 (100ppm cut-off). Prior to the announcement of the maiden resource at A238,
Forte's total resources were 19Mt @ 325ppm U3O8 for 13.6Mlbs contained U3O8 (100ppm cut-off).

Total 45.53 284 28.5

The maiden resource estimate for the A238 prospect is based on assay data from drilling programs during
2010 and 2011 in which a total of approximately 10,450m of drilling was completed, together with detailed
radiometric information and geological modelling. The drilling programs consisted of 35 Reverse
Circulation ("RC") drill holes (for approximately 1,400m) completed in the 2009/2010 field season, along
with a further 96 RC drill holes (for approximately 7,700m) and 9 diamond drill holes (for approximately
1350m) completed during the 2010/2011 field season. The drill holes were generally 50m to 100m apart along
100m and 200m spaced sections.

The A238 orebody, exists within a major NW-SE trending regional scale tectonic zone. Mineralization occurs
within thick blocks of steeply dipping Episyenite altered granite, with evidence of secondary development
of thicker, shallow dipping higher grade zones. The resource at A238 remains open at depth and along
strike with additional potential in the high grade zones that have to date been poorly defined by the
sparse first pass drilling.

Significant intersections from the final 3 diamond drill holes include:

10m @ 205 ppm U in DD06;

62m @ 337 ppm U in DD09; and

13m @ 230 ppm U,

17m @ 355 ppm U,

12m @ 250 ppm U,

19m @ 215 ppm U,

11m @ 341 ppm U &

20m @ 369 ppm U in DD10.

Mark Reilly, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Forte, commented:

"The doubling of Forte's global JORC compliant resources, and substantial increase in the resource base in
Mauritania, represents significant progress in our strategy to target high grade uranium orebodies in West
Africa and delineate resource bases with the critical mass to support high return mining developments. We
see this resource as a major milestone in this virgin region, and we look forward to returning to
Mauritania after the summer to carry out more drilling at A238 to increase the size and confidence of its
resource and to also follow up numerous other priority targets identified in this highly prospective
region, including the Tamreikat Prospect where initial drill results earlier in 2011 were very
encouraging."
