Dougherty Laser Vision Seeks Patients for Free Cataract Surgery to Study Next-Generation Lens

LOS ANGELES, CA and CAMARILLO, CA--(Marketwire - April 17, 2008) - Dougherty Laser Vision -- one of Southern California's leading centers for vision correction research and treatment -- is recruiting patients with cataracts to participate in a clinical study of the latest intra-ocular (IOL) lens technology.

Patients who meet the eligibility criteria and participate in the study will receive free cataract surgery. They will also receive the IOL at reduced or no cost, depending on their medical insurance status. They may also be eligible for compensation.
