BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 29, 2012) - Today, Wednesday, August 29th, Vancouver's downtown core will get a special lunchtime treat. From 12:00 to 1:00pm, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada will host an unconventional urban putting green, in the courtyard outside of the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Featuring two temporary putting greens, prizes and some good lunchtime tunes, this event will entice passersby to test their skills and have some fun, while creating awareness for the upcoming fundraising event, the MS 100 Hole Golf Challenge (http://mssoc.convio.net/site/TR?fr_id=1591&pg=entry).

Golfers in the MS 100 Hole Challenge have raised over $1 million since 1996 to support research into the cause and cure for MS and provide free supports and services to people affected by MS.
