NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 3, 2015) - Believing that "Education is not just an intellectual exercise; it is most effective when the head meets the heart and knowledge can be applied to enhance the quality of one's life on all levels; educational, physical, spiritual and social," Dr. Andreae is an award-winning professor whose philosophy on education enriches the lives of students, families, work environments and communities; and this wisdom ultimately becomes a vital part of them. Dr. Daniel Andreae also dedicates a large portion of his time to research and the education of those affected by Neurodegenerative Diseases, studying the effect of these diseases on the individuals, their families and society as a whole.

Dr. Andreae holds a Doctorate of Education from the University of Toronto and Doctorate of Science specializing in neuroscience. Dr. Andreae is both an Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo and a Professor at the University of Guelph Humber. During his career, he has taught over forty-five different subject courses at the college and university level, though his focus and personal enjoyment are those related to psychology. Healing a person as a whole has been Dr. Andreae's approach from early on. By combining theory with life experience, award-winning Dr. Andreae feels you begin to be able to address the needs of the individual as a whole. For his students, tapping into this balance affords them the insight which allows them to get a grasp on their abilities, hopes and aspirations. By providing a safe and supportive environment in the classroom, Dr. Daniel Andreae hopes to dispel their doubts and fears, allowing them to flourish and grow. The result of this approach, whether in a clinical or educational setting, is the ability to plant the seeds for confident exploration of ideas, free critical thinking and personal growth. This approach sounds so simple, yet it is rarely how education or treatment progresses. Dr. Andreae, his students and those who embrace this concept are changing that, one person at a time, every week, month and year.

Dr. Andreae's interest and involvement in Neurodegenerative Diseases has enlightened him to the crucial role that brain research and education concerning neurodegenerative conditions play in the lives of individuals, families and society.
