Dr. Gholam Mujtaba -- Discusses Pakistani Yellow Journalism Issues

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - November 30, 2015) - Politician and Chairman of Pakistani Policy Institute, Dr. Gholam Mujtaba has taken to his Facebook page to discuss the vital impact of yellow journalism in the AfPak region. He writes about how to increase the relationship between the Middle East and America. As an experienced politician and social commentator, Dr. Mujtaba communicates the cause and effect of past actions and can propose an outlined plan to amend the current situation.

In his Facebook post dated November 19th, Dr. Mujtaba questions the actions of news organizations, both East and West that fail to produce an honest and coherent report of events in history thus causing inappropriate and biased views towards the differing cultures and religions. He raises the issues of freedom of speech versus censorship during his attempt to build bridges across the multiple regions. "The Pakistani yellow journalism obliterated the flow of information through an effective Chinese, Russian, Indian and Iranian lobbies to news favoring the US," writes Mujtaba. "Most of them would not publish my statements as it provides a real face of America." Dr. Mujtaba's blogs are read by over one million people each week, and can be used as a major pioneer in confronting the questions and issues that are faced by Americans and the Middle East regarding their amicable relationship in the future.

Dr. Gholam Mujtaba recognizes that relations between the two regions have strengthened in recent years. He explains, "There were days, few years back, when my writings on the Facebook faced profanity while favoring U.S. policies. These were the days when writing anything about America would target the person as a CIA agent, something to damage public perceptions in the Muslim world." As a successful politician in both countries, the US and Pakistan, Dr. Mujtaba holds a unique understanding of both sides and histories, and remains an expert in modern day tools and tactics when improving the image and communication of ideas.

"We need three things to improve this stigma," asserts Mujtaba. "First, we must watch Facebook and other social media tools. There is also a need of surveillance on print and electronic media in the Muslim nations, to ensure credibility and integrity. Finally, there is a need to maintain a list of those operating to mislead Muslim nations. Some of these individuals succeed in visiting the US and reinforce their objectives by influencing the minds of those living in this country."

Dr. Gholam Mujtaba has had a long career in politics across America and Pakistan. Currently, a Central Leader to the Republican Party of the United States of America and Chairman of Pakistani Policy Institute, USA, he is an expert on conflict management and Pakistani leadership. Recipient of the United States Congressional Recognition Award in 2015, Dr. Mujtaba has previously held such highly regarded positions as the Central Vice President of the All Pakistan Muslim League and an advisor to Chief Minister Sindh.
