Dr. Laura Palmer Noone Named CEO of Potomac College

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - Mar 1, 2012) - Potomac College, a multi-campus business and information systems education institution, announced that Dr. Laura Palmer Noone has been named CEO of the organization.

Palmer Noone brings over 20 years of experience in higher education management in the for-profit sector to Potomac College, including serving six years as president of the University of Phoenix.

Palmer Noone holds a doctorate in higher education administration from The Union Institute and a juris doctor and master's from the University of Iowa.

Potomac College offers associate and bachelor's degrees in business management, accounting, international business, information systems management and network security management.

Potomac College currently offers specializations in accounting, cyber security, general management, government contract management, health systems management, and information systems management.

Potomac College was founded in 1991 and offers programs leading to Associate of Science and the Bachelor of Science degrees in the fields of business and technology. The college has two campuses in Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia, as well as online programs.

The Washington, D.C. campus of Potomac College is located at 4000 Chesapeake Street N.W. in Washington D.C. The Northern Virginia campus of Potomac College is located at 1029 Herndon Parkway in Herndon, Virginia.
