Dr. Mehrdad Hariri in Ottawa Sept 14-16 to promote Canadian Science Policy Conference (Nov. 16-18 2011)

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 12, 2011) - For its third edition, the Canadian Science Policy Conference (CSPC) is at the Ottawa Convention Centre on November 16-18, 2011! CSPC brings together over 500 delegates, including leaders in science, industry, government, and the non profit sector, to share ideas on key challenges in Canadian science, technology and innovation.

CSPC 2011 themes are:

  • Enabling Private Sector Innovation
  • Science, Politics and Culture in Canada
  • Exploring the True North: Reflections on Northern Science Policy
  • 2011: International Year of Chemistry
  • Full day Workshop on "The Nuts and Bolts of Science Policy"

Hon. Gary Goodyear, Minister of State (Science and Technology) has been confirmed as a keynote speaker.
