Dr. Robert Sprague Joins SiPix Imaging, Inc. as Vice President of Engineering

FREMONT, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 2, 2007 -- SiPix Imaging, Inc., a global supplier of e-paper displays and in-mold decoration film, has expanded its management team with the appointment of Dr. Robert Sprague as Vice President of Engineering.

Prior to joining SiPix, Dr. Sprague was the co-founder and CTO of Gyricon, a company that brought to market one of the first electronic paper displays for use in retail and business signage. Prior to Gyricon, he was the Associate Director at Xerox PARC where he developed the Gyricon display technology. Dr. Sprague has also served as president of SPIE, the International Society of Optical Engineering. Dr. Sprague holds over 60 patents and has received numerous awards, including Fellow of SPIE and OSA, Xerox President's Award, SPIE President's Award, and Kingslake Medal of SPIE.
