Dr. Shi Zhong Named Chief Scientist at Adometry

Former Research Executive From Yahoo! and Zilliant to Lead Development Strategies

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Nov 4, 2011) - Adometry™, Inc., the leader in cross channel fractional attribution and ad verification technology, today announced the appointment of Shi Zhong, PhD to the position of Chief Scientist. In his new role, Shi will focus on bringing more data mining and machine learning advantages to the development of the patent-pending Adometry fractional attribution and campaign optimization technologies.

For over two years, Shi has served as the Director of Research at Adometry, where he's spearheaded the development of the company's new fractional attribution platform. Before joining Adometry, Shi worked as a senior pricing scientist for Zilliant. There, he helped develop advanced price segmentation and demand modeling techniques.

Previously, Shi was a senior research scientist at Yahoo! and worked on a variety of data mining projects, including ad creative risk assessment, Internet user segmentation, behavioral targeting, and campaign optimization. He also served as an assistant professor at Florida Atlantic University, where he conducted academic research in various areas of data mining and machine learning. Shi earned his PhD in Data Mining from the University of Texas at Austin and holds two U.S. patents.
