Draftfcb Chicago Wins ProCure Treatment Centers Account

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - February 3, 2009) - Draftfcb Chicago announced today that the agency's consumer healthcare team has been awarded integrated marketing services for ProCure Treatment Centers, Inc. (ProCure), which is developing a network of cancer treatment centers across the United States offering proton therapy, a form of radiation therapy. The agency will work with ProCure to deliver comprehensive marketing programs, including Web site development and patient and physician support material.

"While there have been more than 50,000 people treated with proton therapy for a variety of cancers, the number of patients who could benefit far exceeds the number of treatment slots available. ProCure's mission is to help more patients gain access to this advanced therapy," said Melissa Sturno, vice president of marketing at ProCure. "In partnering with Draftfcb, we hope to raise awareness of proton therapy and educate both patients and physicians."

Founded in 2005, ProCure is the first company in the world to have two proton treatment centers under construction and two others under development. The first ProCure Proton Therapy Center is scheduled to open in Oklahoma City this summer, while a center in suburban Chicago has broken ground and is scheduled to treat patients in early 2011. ProCure has centers in Detroit and South Florida under development.

"ProCure offers an exceptional, patient-centric approach that we at Draftfcb value, and we're excited to have the opportunity to work with ProCure in helping to make a real difference in the lives of patients with cancer," said Kurt Zoller, EVP, group management director at Draftfcb Chicago.
