Draken International to Exhibit at 2014 Tailhook Reunion and Air Force Association Air & Space Conference

LAKELAND, FL--(Marketwired - Aug 18, 2014) - Draken International, the leading provider of 4th generation tactical flight support in the world, will be exhibiting at two upcoming trade shows in the US. The first appearance will be at the 2014 Tailhook Reunion in Reno, Nevada September 4-7, 2014. Draken will follow up this appearance with a visit to the Air Force Association's Air & Space Conference in Washington, DC from September 15-17, 2014.

The Tailhook Association is an "independent, fraternal, nonprofit organization internationally recognized as the premier supporter of the aircraft carrier and other sea-based aviation." The Air Force Association (AFA) is a "non-profit, independent, professional military and aerospace education association promoting public understanding of aerospace power and the pivotal role it plays in the security of the nation." Both events are widely attended by active-duty and former military personnel.

At both events, Draken will be showcasing the company's growing fleet of over 70 tactical jet aircraft as well as their recent expansion in capabilities. Draken recently announced the purchase of up to 28 Aero Vodochody L-159E ALCA fighter aircraft as part of an historic agreement with the manufacturer. This agreement also establishes Draken as the exclusive distributor, manufacturer and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider for Aero Vodochody in North and South America.

Draken now owns and operates the largest fleet of privately-owned ex-military aircraft in the world and uses these assets to provide a cost-effective tactical flight support solution to support the US military and its allies. The cost savings available to militaries across the globe by utilizing tactical flight support is overwhelming. Prior to Draken's founding, the application of contract air services was limited to a handful of Lear Jets and Korean War vintage aircraft performing target towing and basic electronic warfare mission sets. Draken has set a new standard in the emerging tactical air services industry by delivering an extensive fleet of aircraft with 4th generation capabilities, flown by world-class, highly-trained pilots and offered at a significant cost-savings over the use of military assets.
