Dramatic Growth Keys New Hires at Mobile Sales Automation Platform Fragmob

Michael McMillan Named VP of Customer Experience

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 17, 2015) - In the midst of a period of impressive growth and with a rapidly growing client roster, mobile sales platform innovator Fragmob is expanding its staffing in several key areas, nearly tripling the size of its development team and expanding its sales footprint into Latin America. The Frag DS platform is geared to the direct selling and multi-level marketing industry which generates an estimated $33 billion in annual sales in the United States and $176 billion globally.

With a deep background in sales and customer service, Michael McMillan joins Fragmob this week as its first Vice President of Customer Experience. Previously, McMillan was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Minneapolis-St. Paul-based contact center/call center solution provider, The Connection, where he helped multiple direct selling organizations build support solutions for their distributors and customers.

"In working with direct selling companies and their distributors I saw they were all looking for solutions to make their businesses work better. Seeking out those solutions led me to Fragmob," McMillan said. "I saw their platform and mobile apps and was so impressed that I had to know more. A few conversations later and now I'm honored be a part of a team that is revolutionizing direct selling."

The platform McMillan saw turns a sales rep's smartphone into an immediate point of sale, a tracking system for orders, and a guide to the best sales and team coaching actions to take in real-time. The Fragmob platform also provides unprecedented analytics intelligence, giving client companies the added value of crucial, never-before-seen data on the activity of their sales force. The strategic services that come with the platform help direct selling companies gain adoption rapidly while increasing sales and decreasing support service costs. Most importantly sellers make more money in less time, keeping direct selling opportunities competitive with the myriad new income opportunities offered by sharing economy from startups like Uber and Airbnb.

Launched in 2011, Fragmob is now working with such direct selling/MLM leaders as Omnilife-Angelissma, one of the biggest direct sellers globally with sales reps in 19 countries selling its health supplements, cosmetics and skin care products; ItWorks!, the innovative producer of body wraps and herbal products named to the Inc. 500 for the past two years; and health and nutritional products network marketing company Qivana which is using its new white label Fragmob app in the USA, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

"I've known Mike McMillan for five years now, seeing him at industry events and even sharing mutual customers. His reputation for bringing incredible value to his customers is absolutely stellar, which was reason enough for me to approach him about this position," Fragmob EVP of Marketing and Business Development Michel Bayan said. "The bonus was his experience in fast growth organizations, so Mike will help us scale our operations, a critical factor for success, especially with our accelerating rate of growth."
