DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - March 4, 2008) - athleticBaby (, creator of award-winning sports and fitness DVDs for children, is proud to announce their exciting new partnership with K's Kids, the prestigious developer of hands-on toys for babies and toddlers. Together this "dream team" will produce the athleticBaby by K's Kids line of sports-themed toys launching globally this month at the American International Toy Fair in New York.

The toy products were conceptualized by athleticBaby to fully complement their mission of encouraging a physically active, healthy lifestyle in young children. The toys are designed and manufactured by K's Kids, an award-winning market leader in innovative products for babies and toddlers, whose products are available in 53 countries. "K's Kids has been the ideal partner for this project, bringing their team's creativity, experience and design savvy to our unique toy line," says CEO Karen Foster. She adds that each hands-on toy will be packaged to include a 5-minute SNEAK PREVIEW DVD from athleticBaby's award-winning series, further encouraging the multi-sensory experience.

The Ohio Art Company is the primary U.S. distributor for the athleticBaby line, and has handled U.S. distribution for K's Kids products since 2005. "We are extremely pleased to be working with the team at Ohio Art," says Foster. "They have been very supportive of our concepts and incredibly pivotal in bringing this project to life. Many of the toys will be incorporated into athleticBaby's "Little Athletes Program," a six-stage program for children 3 months to 4 years-old which is designed to promote gross motor skill development, hand-eye coordination, socialization and the interest in early sports participation and energetic play. The program launched at the Plano Sports Authority, a youth sporting facility in the Dallas area, early in 2007. athleticBaby will begin marketing "The Little Athletes Program" nationwide in 2008.

The good news for LEAD-WARY parents is that all athleticBaby by K's Kids products are high-quality and entirely plush. "Our commitment to the health and safety of our users has always been our top priority," says Karen Foster. She adds, "That is precisely why we partnered with K's Kids, a company focused on the same high standards and who shares the same commitment with their toy lines."
