Dresner Advisory Services Announces New Additions to Its Research Team

NASHUA, NH--(Marketwired - Jun 13, 2016) -  Dresner Advisory Services today announced the appointment of Bill Hostmann to Research Fellow, and Rob Rose as Director of Research Operations. The company promoted Jim Ericson to Vice President and Research Director.

Mr. Hostmann will serve Dresner Advisory Services in a number of capacities -- including accelerated expansion into a broader information management agenda and ongoing support and interaction with key clientele.

Mr. Hostmann has more than 20 years of product management experience at the intersection of business intelligence/analytics and data analytics infrastructure, including positions in product and general management at Gemstone Systems, Informix, and Informatica. He spent 14 years as a research analyst at Gartner, including several years as a VP and Distinguished Analyst for BI/Analytics. Mr. Hostmann served as conference chair of the Gartner BI/Analytics Conference for many years, growing the number of conference attendees from hundreds to several thousand attendees.

Mr. Rose has more than 30 years' experience with technology companies and is a leader in corporate strategy, research and development, product management, and product marketing. As chief designer, R&D executive, and strategy executive for IBM Business Analytics, and past chief strategy officer at Cognos, Mr. Rose worked with the management teams to develop product and market directions and create go-to-market models. Mr. Rose is the author of "Smooth Sailing on Rough Seas: 8 Principles of High-Performance Business" and has written numerous articles about analytics as well as technology and marketing trends for various industry publications.
