Dress for Success Toronto Announces Results of 2011 Bay Street Suit Challenge

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 16, 2011) - Dress for Success Toronto ("DfS Toronto") is extremely pleased to announce the results of its 2011 signature Bay Street Suit Challenge ("BSSC" or the "Challenge"), its most successful Challenge yet!

The Bay Street Challenge, which kicked off on Monday, May 16th and ran through Friday, June 3rd, called upon Greater Toronto Area ("GTA") professionals to collect and donate new or nearly new professional clothing and accessories. The result was an unprecedented 11,000+ garment and accessory donations and almost $55,000 in cash donations.

Congratulations to the 2011 Bay Street Suit Challenge Award winners, who have demonstrated a superior level of commitment to cleaning out their closets and providing business appropriate attire to under privileged Canadians, a vital first-step in a journey toward self-sufficiency.

Winners and participants will be recognized at a cocktail reception to be held today at KPMG's Toronto office. We look forward to seeing these partners celebrate their success as they continue to provide their support for Dress for Success Toronto.
