Dress for Success Toronto Appoints New Executive Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Dec. 1, 2014) - The board of directors of Dress for Success Toronto (DfS Toronto) - a registered Canadian Charity with the mission to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life - is pleased to announce the appointment of Debbie Lupton as executive director, effective November 10, 2014.

"As an expert in human services and a proven nonprofit leader with a passion for initiatives that support and empower disadvantaged community members to gain strength, resilience and independence both within their own lives and within society in general, Debbie is perfectly poised to continue to grow and develop the important mandate of our organization," says Geri Markvoort Chair Dress for Success, Toronto.

Prior to joining Dress for Success Toronto, Debbie held an Executive Director role within a similar nonprofit organization for ten years. She was also a senior governance and operations manager at a UN agency. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from McMaster University.
