Dreyer Medical Clinic Announces SampleMD as New Patient Sample & Support System

ROCHESTER, MI--(Marketwire - March 15, 2010) -  OPTIMIZERx Corporation (OTCBB: OPRX) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Dreyer Medical Clinic to implement its SampleMD™ solution as their system for providing sample vouchers and prescription co-pay coupon offerings to its patients. OPTIMIZERx's sampling solution, SampleMD, allows Dreyer Medical Clinic and its doctors and staff a means to electronically search, select and print or e-send sample vouchers, prescription co-pay coupons and other support information right from their desktops and EMR.

Established by physicians in 1922, Dreyer Medical Clinic is one of Illinois' premier multi-specialty medical groups. The physicians represent 27 different medical specialties and a full range of ancillary services within its facilities.

"Dreyer has been a closed system, not allowing for prescription sampling since 2003," said Rami Rihani, Director Pharmacy Services & Chronic Disease Management, "however, in partnership with SampleMD, we will be launching this exciting new technology solution that provides an efficient, compliant, and simplistic way to improve access to industry savings coupons and voucher offerings for our patients while minimizing any interruption of workflow for our professionals."

"We are excited to launch this important initiative with Dreyer Medical Clinic to provide an integrated electronic platform to help more patients start and stay on their prescribed medications," said David Harrell, Chairman and Founder of SampleMD. "It is right in line with the Dreyer Medical Clinic's mission to provide the highest quality health care for the individuals, families, and communities they serve."

SampleMD (www.samplemd.com) is a revolutionary downloadable virtual "Patient Support Center" that allows doctors and staff to access a universe of sample vouchers, prescription co-pay coupons directly from their desktops. Doctors and healthcare providers utilize the SampleMD application from their computer desktops or integrate it into their EMR and/or e-Prescribe systems to search, print or electronically dispense drug samples and prescription co-pay coupons through a national network of pharmacies. SampleMD eliminates the need for physicians to manage and store physical drug samples by offering a more convenient and efficient way to allocate, administer and track samples and prescription co-pay savings provided to their patients. Doctors can also review a branded drug's formulary status within the patients' insurance plan to determine at what level the product is paid/reimbursed. With an integrated automated communications capability, SampleMD will also provide on-going patient support and delivery of monthly prescription co-pay savings to promote continued drug compliance for chronic conditions such as diabetes, cholesterol, heart disease and asthma.
