Drill Program to Commence on The Musgrove Creek Gold Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 12, 2006) - Journey Resources Corp. ("Journey" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:JNY) is pleased to announce that a 2006 Plan of Operations has been submitted and accepted by the State of Idaho Forest Service and the Company plans to commence an aggressive exploration program on the Musgrove Creek Deposit in June of this year.

Journey is currently earning a 100% interest in and to certain mineral claims comprising the Musgrove Creek Gold Property (the "Property"). The Property consists of 77 contiguous, unpatented mining claims located in the Cobalt Mining District of Lemhi County, approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) southwest of Salmon, Idaho and covers approximately 2,000 acres of gentle to steep terrain that is road accessible.

The Property is underlain by quartzited, siltitess and phyllites of the Precambrian age Apple Creek Formation, situated along the Trans-Challis Fault System, a prominent northeast trending fault zone, which is host to numerous gold deposits. A 2004 soil geochemical survey identified a large arsenic anomaly and associated gold anomaly to the northwest of the present mineral resource.

A success contingent, phase-type exploration program has been recommended in a technical report dated March 30, 2006, prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101, which has been submitted to the TSX Venture Exchange for acceptance.

The planned program will cost approximately CDN$450,000 and will include geological mapping and soil sampling of the prospective mineralized zone, trenching and Reverse Circulation drilling.

Mr. Jack Bal, President of Journey, commented: "We are very excited about commencing a work program on the Musgrove Gold Project, and in particular drilling the arsenic and gold anomalies discovered to the northwest of the present mineral resource."

Journey Resources Corp. is a mineral-exploration resource company trading on the TSX Venture Exchange (Symbol : JNY).
