Drill Results Show More High Grade Copper Mineralization at Madrugador Deposit, and Mineralization Still Open in Several Directions Apoquindo Copper Oxide Project, Chile

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 18, 2008) - Apoquindo Minerals Inc. ("Apoquindo" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:AQM)(BVL:AQM) is pleased to announce more high grade results from the expansion of known copper oxide zones at the Madrugador Deposit (Madrugador Sur and Brac II) which make up part of the Apoquindo Copper Oxide Project in Chile.

These drill results are all outside of the resource estimate prepared by Geovectra and announced in the Company's September 17, 2008 news release with regard to the Madrugador deposit. Most of these holes are from Madrugador Sur zone that is still open to North and South. Also, some holes from Brac II indicate that this deposit is still open to the NE and SW.

Apoquindo has drilled a total of 42,969.34m (40,869m of RC and 2,100.34m of core) in the Elenita and Madrugador deposits of which 37,416.34m are exploratory and infill and 5,280m are twinning. For further drill hole results, please visit our website: www.apoquindominerals.com.

Madrugador Drilling Highlights:

- 82m @ 1.009% CuT including 21m @ 2.296% CuT in hole RQM-128

- 51m @ 1.692% CuT including 22m @ 2.394% CuT in hole RQM-129

- 63m @ 1.486% CuT including 23m @ 1.876% CuT & 13m @ 2.235% CuT in hole RQM-130

- 21m @ 1.772% CuT including 7m @ 3.376% CuT in hole RQM-104

- 22m @ 1.019% CuT in hole RQM-132

- Madrugador Sur is still open north and southward.

- Brac II deposit is still open in the NE and SW directions.

At the Madrugador Project, the Company has found that the mineralization is still open in several directions.

AMEC has provided Apoquindo with guidelines and consulting in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC). Each duplicate, standard and blank is inserted every 20 samples. Assays are performed by ALS Chemex in Chile. To date, more than 40,000 sample results have been received including 2,000 standards and 2,000 duplicates which were analyzed by ALS Chemex Laboratories in Antofagasta, Chile. Dr. Tom Henricksen, a consultant geologist of the Company and the Company's Qualified Person for the purposes of NI 43-101, has approved the information contained in this news release.
