Drink Good - DO GOOD Hosts Multicultural Spirit and Beer Tasting, "One World, One Glass: Part Two," to Raise Money for the San Francisco Education Fund

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 20, 2011) - Drink Good - DO GOOD is hosting a multicultural spirit and beer tasting called "One World, One Glass: Part Two" on Wednesday, April 27, from 5pm to 9pm.

There are separate tastings that feature alcohol from regions of the world -- the Caribbean, Mexico and South Asia/India. Each region is represented at a different San Francisco bar, where guests enjoy unlimited tastings as well as savory ethnic snacks. The proceeds benefit the San Francisco Education Fund supporting San Francisco public schools.

"Because our first multicultural tasting in March went so well, we're doing it again!" says Yvonne Chavez, lead coordinator of Drink Good - DO GOOD.

Gold Cane Cocktail Lounge is hosting Mexico's "Lucha Libre: Fighting for GOOD" (sponsored by El Mensajero); Murio's Trophy Room is hosting the Caribbean's "Pirate Booty: Plundering for GOOD" (sponsored by; EZ5 is hosting South Asia's "Bollywood Life: Dancing for GOOD" (sponsored by India West).

Participating alcohol brands include Amrut Distilleries, Chakra Indian Beer, Sergeant Classick Hawaiian Rum, Don Q, Tequila Don Pilar, Artá Tequila, Magave Tequila, Tequila Adan y Eva and Crispin Cider. Each venue features one of the following San Francisco disc jockeys: DJ Guillermo, DJ Roger Más and DJ Timoteo Gigante.

Tickets are $25 each per bar. The "World Tour" ticket package includes admission to all three bars and car service for a group of four friends for $160. Tickets are sold via Eventbrite and other city event websites.

The Education Fund provides cash-strapped schools with two effective and almost unlimited resources -- volunteers and funds.
