Drink Good - DO GOOD Hosts Spirit and Beer Tasting, "One World, One Glass," to Raise Money for MetWest High School

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - March 22, 2011) -  Drink Good - DO GOOD is hosting a spirit and beer tasting called "One World, One Glass" on Saturday, March 26th, from 6pm-9pm. There are three separate tastings from three regions of the world -- the Caribbean, Mexico and South Asia. Each region is represented at a different San Francisco bar, where guests enjoy unlimited tastings as well as savory ethnic snacks. Almost all of the proceeds are donated to MetWest High School in Oakland, CA.

Participating alcohol brands include Tequila Adan y Eva, Crispin Cider, Sergeant Classick Hawaiian Rum, Don Pilar and Artá Tequila. Each venue also features one of the following San Francisco DJs: DJ Guillermo, DJ Roger Más and Desi Jams.

Madrone Art Bar is hosting Mexico's "Without Borders," Tope Lounge is hosting the Caribbean's "Voodoo Magic" and EZ5 is hosting South Asia's "Bollywood." The entire event is sponsored by East Bay Express.

"Think spirit tasting with a charitable twist," says Yvonne Chavez, lead coordinator of Drink Good - DO GOOD. "As with all our events, people can drink and have a good time with friends -- something they would do anyway -- while giving back to the community. Down deep, people want to help those less fortunate. We just give them a fun and easy way to do it."

Tickets can be purchased on a per-bar basis for $45 each. The "World Tour" ticket package includes admission to all three bars and car service for a group of four friends for $240. Tickets are sold via Eventbrite and other city event websites.

For more information or to receive $20 off individual tickets, visit the Drink Good - DO GOOD website.
