This year PuppetConf will feature expanded programming with new IT leadership tracks and additional content for people new to Puppet, making PuppetConf the definitive IT operations event for everyone from sysadmins to IT managers and more. Hosted by Puppet Labs this year in its hometown of Portland, Oregon, PuppetConf 2015 (October 5-9) will provide attendees with the tools and know-how they need to deploy great software faster, increase productivity and quickly adapt to rapidly-changing business needs.

PuppetConf 2015 will include five value-packed days of training, keynotes, track sessions, demos and networking events. Since its inception in 2011, this industry-leading conference has grown from 300 attendees to nearly 2,000 in 2014, with 6,000 more tuning into the livestream.

Puppet Labs encourages submissions that share best practices and knowledge gained from the hands-on experience of thousands of community members who will gather at PuppetConf 2015. This year's sessions will cover a wide range of topics, such as:

  • How-to's on Puppet and Puppet-related tools for beginners and experts alike.
  • Best practices and training on using Puppet for application release automation, change control, continuous delivery and release management.
  • Sessions on how Puppet addresses industry trends such as cloud management (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and hybrid), DevOps and software defined networking (SDN).
  • IT leadership tracks on budgeting, change management, IT transformation and team building.
  • Cool tools: technology the community should know more about, and how it's being used by industry leaders.
