For Monica Di Franco, morning commutes just got a whole lot smoother. She is the proud winner of a 2014 Ford Focus, courtesy of Heritage Education Funds Inc. Monica was one of thousands of participants in the Driving Your Child's Future Forward car giveaway, a contest sponsored by both Heritage and Summit to raise awareness of the rapidly increasing costs of education. Both Jason R.B. Maguire, president of Heritage Education Funds, and Scott Vickers, president of Summit Ford, were on hand at the Summit Ford dealership to present the Di Franco family with their new vehicle and offer their heartfelt congratulations, with Scott adding: "We love giving back to the community, and on behalf of all of us at Summit Ford we would like to thank everyone who entered the contest."

The Driving Your Child's Future Forward car contest was open to public entries from across Canada. Through this giveaway, Heritage Education Funds was able to raise awareness about the rapidly increasing costs of tuition and helped inform the public about RESPs and what they can offer parents and families. This is something Monica, as a long-time Heritage subscriber, is well-versed in: "As a young family, our focus was on securing our kids' education and Heritage offered the right and flexible investment for us," she said. "I lost my job recently, and looking back, I'm truly grateful for investing in the RESP with Heritage, as without it, paying for my son's university education would be a challenge."
