SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 10, 2008) - CTIA -- Droplet Technology, an innovator in mobile video applications and services, today announced the debut of their new real-time VideoShare service platform. Working closely with leading service providers worldwide, Droplet has integrated state-of-the-art all-software video and voice codec technologies with an industry-standard IMS framework, enabling for the first time 2-way peer-to-peer video sharing with synchronized voice on a broad range of 2.5G and 3G handsets. Droplet has further extended real-time video sharing capabilities via a common software client architecture for mobile handset and PC platforms, providing a converged user experience and enhancing interoperability across multiple devices, operating systems, and networks. Droplet's all-software mobile video client application also supports VideoShare service deployments via client download to both handsets and PCs.
