Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center, Sunray Treatment and Recovery, Sponsor Tim and John From PimpThisBum.com

PUGET SOUND, WA--(Marketwire - April 22, 2009) - While many people may not agree with the name PimpThisBum.com, the new website, which centers on helping Tim Edwards, a Houston homeless man, has already received over 800,000 hits and donations from all over the world since it launched in February of this year. Most notable of the donations perhaps, is from Sunray Treatment and Recovery, a Washington drug and alcohol treatment facility, which sponsored alcohol treatment valued at $22,800 for Tim and John from PimpThisBum.com.

Founded by Texas father and son Kevin and Sean Dolan, PimpThisBum.com aims to raise money and awareness for the homeless. "We have shook some people up, brought some attention to the plight of the homeless and are committed to helping at least one person come back from the dark side," said Kevin Dolan. "If we have offended you I hope you will understand that PimpThisBum.com is a sheep in wolves clothing and Sean and I sincerely wish only good things for these people."

After seeing the site, Sunray Treatment and Recovery donated five weeks of alcohol addiction treatment to Tim and his best friend John, at the Sunray drug and alcohol treatment centers in Washington.

"It surprised me, contrary to my assumptions, how many of these guys were not alcoholics when they hit the street," said Dolan. "However, alcohol quickly becomes a cheap anesthetic when you live in hopelessness and despair for very long."

Tim recently celebrated his 38th birthday at Sunray with John and Sean from PimpThisBum.com, as 5,000 viewers watched online. "Most years I've just been marking, like 'well here's another year I've wasted and thrown away," said Tim. "This is the first birthday I get to celebrate in a long time."

Tim and John both finished treatment at Sunray this week. Due to Pimp This Bum exposure John has reconnected with some family, and will relocate to Tennessee in a Sober Living Environment. John has plans to relocate in Houston with a Sober Living House. They are both progressing well.
