Drury Design Kitchen & Bath Studio Wins NKBA Awards for Trend-Setting Suburban Home Kitchen Projects

GLEN ELLYN, IL--(Marketwire - July 11, 2007) - One kitchen and bath studio in Illinois, Drury Design, recently brought home two National Kitchen & Bath Association [NKBA] design awards for projects in Chicago's western suburbs. In business since 1987 and located in downtown Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the studio won second place out of over 100 entries in the Medium Kitchen category and honorable mention in the Other Rooms category for a dramatic butler's pantry. Gail Drury, president and creative director of Drury Design Kitchen & Bath Studio, is a Certified Kitchen Designer [CKD] and a Certified Bath Designer [CBD]. Tina Muller, representing Drury Design Kitchen & Bath Studio, shared the second place prize for Medium Kitchen design with Gail Drury. The Hall kitchen project in Naperville presents a winning plan to revitalize the kitchen in a traditional, upscale twelve-year-old suburban home. Mrs. Muller said, "It's an honor to be recognized by NKBA with this wonderful distinction. I was especially thrilled to bring the news back to our clients."

Each year NKBA invites its 39,000 members in the United States and Canada to enter the Design Competition. NKBA presents Design Competition awards at Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS), the world's largest kitchen and bath industry trade show.

"Projects that win NKBA design awards -- like this one -- often set the tone for future trends," Mrs. Drury said. Mrs. Muller agrees, "We completed the Hall project in 2006. Since then, we're seeing many clients request more of an open look in their kitchen."
