Druva Announces New CFO and CMO as Company Scales for Rapid Growth

Data Protection and Governance Leader Expands Executive Team With Mahesh Patel and Wynn White

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 19, 2015) - Druva, the leader in data protection and governance at the edge, today announced the expansion of its executive team with the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer, Mahesh Patel, and Chief Marketing Officer, Wynn White. The hires will help the company meet rising demand for its #1 analyst-rated inSync endpoint data protection and governance platform and its industry-first Phoenix public cloud server backup solution.

"Our growth is being fueled by the increased need to control data outside the corporate firewall, further acceptance of the public cloud and the uniqueness of our endpoint protection and cloud backup solutions. We have reached a critical point in our growth where we need both a CFO and a CMO as part of our management infrastructure," said Jaspreet Singh, Druva founder and CEO. "Both Mahesh and Wynn's strong track records and experience will help drive our ongoing global expansion initiatives, ensuring that we can scale efficiently as we continue to build the business."

Mahesh Patel has more than 14 years of experience in financial leadership and infrastructure development at high-growth technology companies. He most recently served as VP, Corporate Controller and Treasurer at RingCentral, where he was instrumental in the company's 2013 IPO. He previously held the same position at Intematix and multiple financial leadership roles at Atheros Communications until its acquisition by Qualcomm in 2011, including a transitional position at Qualcomm after the transaction closed.

Wynn White is a 20-year veteran of enterprise marketing. He joins Druva after three years as VP, Marketing at Birst, where he played a pivotal role in establishing that company as a leader in cloud business intelligence. He previously built and led marketing at KACE, helping drive the company's growth from 300 to 3,000+ customers with eventual acquisition by Dell. His background also includes senior marketing leadership roles at Oracle as well as at Oblix and BEA before they were acquired by Oracle.

Other recent executive additions at Druva include Sunil Wadhwa as VP of Customer Success and Operations and Rick Powles as Regional Vice President, EMEA.

In addition to strengthening its executive team, Druva also recently announced its new cloud data privacy framework. The comprehensive framework, built on the company's industry-proven cloud security foundation, addresses global privacy complexities and enables businesses to meet growing global privacy demands. Also, Druva has announced quadrupled global channel sales since launching its PartnerSync channel program, translating to an average 42 percent quarterly revenue increase per partner from sales of Druva solutions.
