(NASDAQ: DRYS) (the "Company" or "DryShips"), a diversified owner of ocean going cargo vessels, announced today that it will pay a regular dividend of approximately $0.017412 per common share in connection with the previously announced dividend for the quarter ended December 31, 2016. As previously announced, the Board of Directors declared a regular fixed dividend of $2.5 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 to the common shareholders of record as of March 15, 2017, with the dividend per share amount to be determined based on the number of shares outstanding on the record date. The Company had 143,572,689 common shares outstanding as of March 15, 2017. The dividend will be payable on or about March 31, 2017.
