Dsco Announces the Dsco 444, a List of the Top 444 Drop Shipping Brands in Today's Supply Chain

The first of its kind list is generated using Dsco's proprietary algorithmic output

LEHI, UT--(Marketwired - Aug 30, 2017) - Dsco, a leading supply chain intelligence company, today announced the Dsco 444, the first ever ranking of the top 444 drop shipping brands in today's retail supply chain. Rankings are categorized by performance both in virtual communication and physical fulfillment. Lacoste, Tony Bianco, Hugo Boss, and Schwood Eyewear, were some of those recognized as the top 10 drop shippers in July.

"This type of ranking has never been done before, mainly because this data has not been available in a centralized way," said Jeremy Hanks, CEO of Dsco. "Thanks to our standardized approach to integration and intelligence, we're able to help suppliers and retailers alike in benchmarking their data quality as well as their physical performance to help them continue to improve in comparison with the top drop shipping programs in the world. Dsco is giving its customers meaning from the data, and directional intelligence to unpick complex e-commerce scenarios."

Historically, while suppliers have had a good sense of their performance pertaining to the business they conduct with retail trading partners, they have typically had little to no visibility into their performance versus their peers -- yet retailers make economic decisions based on these comparisons. The Dsco 444 demonstrates how easy it now is to shed light on this blind spot by letting brands know where they stand in relation to the rest of the industry.

"Tony Bianco is delighted to be named one of the top 444 direct to consumer suppliers in the world, and we have benefited greatly from working with Dsco. We can track all of our orders, invoices and inventory in one easy to navigate dashboard that is used by all levels of the business," said Adam Bianco, Director at Tony Bianco. "Dsco's Integration with our ERP was seamless and the entire process has been automated so we have been able to reallocate precious resources to other areas of the business."

Along with the Dsco 444, brands will have access to deeper reporting which allows them to compare their performance with their anonymized universe of peers. In addition, Dsco will help brands discover areas of improvement around their data and operations that will help them increase revenue and lower costs.

"The visibility that we get from Dsco's intuitive and easy to manage platform has become a dynamic part of our ecommerce program," said Nadia Chohan, Director of Operations of Sole Society. "We're so excited to be a part of Dsco's 444 best brands in the supply chain. Their data around our performance will be invaluable as we continue to scale and expand."

Over time, the Dsco 444 will refine and expand the data used to rank brands and suppliers in a manner similar to Google's PageRank calculations, and will further tighten the correlation between their algorithmic scoring and real world results. Dsco plans to reveal updated 444 rankings on a biannual basis.

"Before working with DSCO we did direct EDI integrations with our Drop Ship customers," said Darren Lott, CTO at Topson Downs. "With Dsco our Merchants can grow the business through a user friendly interface, avoiding IT specialist intervention."
