VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 27, 2005) - DTI Dental Technologies Inc. ("DTI")(TSX VENTURE:DTI), one of Canada's leading operators of dental laboratories, is pleased to announce the completion of its largest acquisition to date. DTI has expanded its North American dental laboratory operations through the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Hermanson Dental Services, Inc. ("Hermanson Dental") on October 25, 2005. Based in St. Paul Minnesota, Hermanson Dental is one of the most reputable dental laboratories in the United States and has been serving the Midwest, Eastern and Western United States for over 55 years. Hermanson Dental has over 100 full and part-time employees who have chosen to join the DTI organization and assist with its future growth throughout the United States market.

Paolo Kalaw, DTI's CEO, states, "Dick Hermanson began Hermanson Dental in 1950 and in 1990 Tom Hermanson took over ownership from his father. In the past 55 years, Dick and Tom together have built Hermanson Dental to be one of the most reputable and established dental laboratories in the US. We are honoured that the Hermanson Dental team has chosen to become part of the DTI organization and we look forward to a long and rewarding relationship. We continue to focus our efforts on identifying potential acquisitions like Hermanson Dental, which service the premium quality, cosmetic dentistry market."

DTI further announces that BCMC Capital Limited Partnership and BCMC Capital II Limited Partnership (the "Funds") have been replaced as secured lenders, in respect of all indebtedness owed by DTI to the Funds, by BCC Mortgage Investment Corp., a financial investment arm of The Beedie Group Inc.
