DTT PLC ('DTT' or the 'Company'): Update

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Feb. 28, 2008) - DTT Plc (DTT) has received centre accreditation from the Joint Approvals unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) for the delivery of the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC). The approval covers all of DTT's UK training centres.

The DCPC comes into effect from September 2008 for the bus and coach industry and September 2009 for the haulage sector. The initial qualification for license acquisitions will comprise of four hours of theory tests together with two hours of driving and practical tests.

All drivers, new and existing, will have to undertake 35 hours of training every five years to maintain their Driver CPC. Only training centres approved by JAUPT may deliver this periodic training. To become an approved training centre DTT had to provide evidence of:

- Insurance cover

- Secure IT systems

- Secure internet links

- Infrastructure including premises, administration and equipment

- Ability to check identities, keep secure records, provide evaluation monitoring systems, etc

- Qualified trainers

This is a key stage in the future development of DTT as it strengthens the vision and delivery of a national training and recruitment brand and network.
