Dixie Lee Opens Its First Dubai Location, Enabling Dixie Lee to Showcase Its Franchise Program in the United Arab Emirates, Giving Tourists From Around the World Who Crave North American Food an Opportunity to Taste Its Signature, Fried Chicken and Seafood

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - December 12, 2007) - Dixie Lee International Industries, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DLII), parent company of the 40-year-old "Dixie Lee" brand name, with more than 80 franchised restaurants open, announced today that it will launch a flagship Dixie Lee Chicken & Seafood Restaurant in Dubai with Ahmad Nosratabadi, Dixie Lee's Middle-East Master Franchisee. The restaurant is positioned to open in February 2008.

Mr. Nosratabadi plans to establish the Dixie Lee Chicken & Seafood chain in 10 markets throughout the Middle East, including plans for Kuwait and 5 additional restaurants in the UAE in the next two years. The company aims to establish 30 restaurants over the next 5 to 8 years.
