Duncan/Channon to Create and Launch Integrated Advertising Campaign for Mobile Social Gaming Leader GREE

Agency Announces Third New Business Win in Six Weeks as Japan's Leading Mobile Social Platform Taps It for U.S. Launch

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 26, 2011) - Integrated advertising agency Duncan/Channon announced that it has been selected by Japan's mobile social gaming leader GREE to create and launch its first U.S. advertising effort. GREE is Japan's leading mobile social platform, generating over one billion page views per day, and has more than 140 million users worldwide in their network. GREE chose Duncan/Channon to develop an integrated campaign introducing the GREE brand to the U.S. market. The first brand/recruitment work breaks today on billboards posted along Highway 101 in San Francisco.

"Duncan/Channon is the perfect partner to help launch the GREE brand here," said Sho Masuda, VP, Marketing at GREE International. "We were impressed by their strategic thinking, their creative, their deep knowledge of our audience and their enthusiasm. We are ready to fully establish ourselves in the U.S. market."

"There aren't many categories hotter than mobile social gaming," said Robert Duncan, executive creative director and partner at Duncan/Channon "We're seeing this major shift in how people engage with their mobile phones, and, by introducing Japan's leading mobile social platform to American consumers, Duncan/Channon is right in the thick of it. We couldn't be more honored."

This latest addition to the Duncan/Channon roster builds on the momentum created by several recent new business wins, including Citrix's GoToMeeting, John Muir Health, and, as announced in the past several weeks, 1-800 CONTACTS and Ancestry.com.
