Duncan/Channon Wins Pencil at the One Show Design Awards for Farrier Wine Packaging

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 12, 2011) - Integrated advertising agency Duncan/Channon took home a Bronze Pencil for its Farrier wine packaging at this week's One Show Design Awards in New York. This design work, and the recognition it is receiving, illustrates the agency's truly integrated approach to solving its clients' marketing and business challenges.

In addition to designing the labels for Farrier, the Duncan/Channon team created the entire brand from scratch, drawing on the history and lore of the local area. The client came with a plot of land in Sonoma County, California's Alexander Valley and a challenge for this a high-end wine division of Jackson Family Wines (Kendall-Jackson) -- to create a wine brand that embodies the agricultural, and cultural heritage of that singular place.

"This is a project that is really close to our hearts, as this team helped build the Farrier brand from the ground up," said John Munyan, creative director at Duncan/Channon. "The wine itself is outstanding, and we wanted to create a unique look, feel and vibe to the packaging.
